Constitution Connection

The second amendment states that a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. This being said anyone could say that they want a gun as home pertection. Others may say they want a weapon just to have. This issues floats both ways. There isnt really a side on it at the moment. There debating on it.

Court Cases

It also says that the second amendment allows common -sense restriction of guns, including who can have them and under what condition's. Alot of state allow guns for self defense. Some states like vermont says that you are allowed to have guns for defense of yourself and as standing armies in time and peace are dangerous to liberty. Alot of other states require for you to have a permit for guns and to register them.

Issue Explaniton

My issue is about our right to keep our guns. This is all about the second amendment. The second amendment says that we have the right to bear arms. The meaning of the second amendment depends on who you talk too. The natinal rifle asosiation, which has the second amendment engraved on its head quaters in washington, insists that the amendment gaurentes the right for indivisuals to carry a weapon. In some states you have to register and have to have a permit to own a gun. The problem with the gun control is everyone has to use them safely and smart. We dont need to be shooting people. guns need to be used for hunting for target shooting.

Right to bear arms

My topic is the right to bare arms. Meaning is it ok to have guns or not and if so what are the requirements. I beileve that anyone who would like to own a gun should be able to but they should have to take a test to show that they know how to use it. They should also have to take a safety course so they are carefull with the weapon. I also think that the goverment should look you up too see if you have a criminal record or not.

Im a hunter and i would like to still be able to use my guns. I have tooken a safety course before and it is a really helpful and safe thing to do. I think that who ever has a gun should use it the right way and not be dumb with it. Guns can kill alot of people. Its our job to make sure people use guns with out any harm. I like guns but i uses them with safety and care. I dont know this is becoming big problem
